| The Chevrolet Equinox is an impressive contender in the compact crossover/SUV segment. It exists on a shared platform with the GMC Terrain and Buick Envision.
The Equinox has one engine, a 1.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder that makes an impressive 175 horsepower and 203 lb. ft. the front-wheel drive is mated to a CVT transmission while the all-wheel drive is mated to an 8-speed transmission.
