After a redesign in 2024 the Chevrolet Traverse rolls into 2025 with a new trim lineup and minimal changes. |
The Traverse offers a vast array of trims and optional equipment that includes strong tech and safety features. Front-wheel and all-wheel drive are both available across the trim levels which include LT, RS, and High Country while the Z71 trim is only available in all-wheel drive. All Traverse trims are powered by a turbocharged 2.5L 4-cylinder engine with 328 horsepower mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Standard features on the Traverse include keyless entry, auto high-beam, LED headlights, heated side mirrors, a power liftgate, 18-inch wheels, and active aero shutters that direct air through the front grille of the vehicle.
Interior features are plentiful with three-zone automatic climate control, a 17.7-inch touchscreen, integrated navigation, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, Bluetooth, 6 USB ports and wireless device charging.
The Z71 is the most rugged of the trims with skid plates, roof rails, 2 tow hooks, and a towing capacity of 5000 lbs.
Standard safety features across the lineup are abundant with parking sensors, active lane departure, active blind spot, forward and rear collision mitigation, front and rear pedestrian detection, front cross traffic mitigation, a following distance alert and traffic sign information system. |
The SUV segment has been a heated battlefield over the last decade. GM has gone to great lengths to make sure its lineup stands out from the competition. The Traverse does this by offering class-leading interior room and an engine lineup that's now more powerful and efficient than ever. The refreshed styling helps distinguish the SUV from the many lookalike vehicles in this category. |
Beautifully redesigned platform; improved gas mileage; excellent cargo and passenger capacity; optional all-wheel drive; wide range of trim levels and options |
