| The Silverado EV made its debut in 2024; and for 2026, some trims received updates, it otherwise carries over with minimal changes. |
| The Silverado EV boasts a powerful dual-motor setup that comes with four-wheel drive as a standard feature. Depending on the trim, the output varies significantly: the Work Truck can churn out up to 510 horsepower and 615 lb-ft of torque, while the RST can reach an impressive 754 horsepower and 785 lb-ft when in Wide Open Watts (WOW) mode. You can expect an estimated driving range of up to 450 miles, which will depend on the configuration and battery size you choose. Plus, with fast charging capabilities of up to 350 kW, you can add around one hundred miles of range in just 10 minutes under ideal conditions. The Silverado EV also maintains robust towing and payload capabilities, with WT models able to tow up to 10,000 pounds and handle over 1,400 pounds of payload. The Silverado EV is quick off the line with 0-60 in under 4.5 seconds.
The Silverado EV all-wheel drive truck is available in nine trims Work Truck 3WT, Work Truck 4WT, Work Truck 5WT, Work Truck 8WT ,LT w/2LT, LT w/3LT, LT w/4LT, Trail Boss w/2TR and Trail Boss w/3TR. The Silverado EV comes with several interesting features including Super Cruise which allows for hands-free driving on more than 200,000 miles of compatible roads, and a Multi-Flex Midgate with several pass-through configurations that expand the bed of the truck into the cab with a max length with tailgate and Midgate lowered of 10 feet 10-inches.
The WT (Work Truck) trim is specifically designed for commercial and fleet use, featuring practical elements like tough vinyl seating, rubberized floors, sleek black exterior trim, and an easy-to-use interface. Standard features include 18-inch wheels, one-pedal regenerative braking, seating for 5, automatic dual-zone climate control, satellite radio with a 6-speaker audio system, an 8-inch digital information display, an 11.3-inch touchscreen, voice activated navigation system, intelligent cruise control, 2 12V power outlets, 4 USB ports, and Bluetooth.
The Trail boss sits at the top of the lineup and adds an off-road suspension, all-terrain tires, skid plates and trailer assist technology.
Safety features across the lineup include parking sensors, active lane departure, active blind spot, forward collision mitigation, rear collision mitigation, front pedestrian detection, a traffic sign information system, rear pedestrian detection, and a front cross traffic alert. |
| Now entering its second full year of production, the 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV is building on its impressive launch by broadening its availability across various trims. While it retains the core design and Ultium-based powertrain, the lineup introduces upgrades in standard technology, optional packages, and some subtle tweaks to the bed and cabin configurations. This all-electric truck has some stiff competition against the F-150 Lightning and Rivian R1T but the Silverado EV is here to compete. The 2026 Silverado EV is all about delivering impressive capability, cutting-edge features, and a zero-emissions experience wrapped up in a full-size pickup. It is perfect for truck enthusiasts who crave the practicality of a classic Silverado but also want the perks of going electric, like instant torque, a quiet ride, and fewer moving parts to worry about. |
